Course Support Overview

The IRC Course Support team manages the setup process for courses that are transferred from existing course sites and completes a final readiness review that assures each AAP course site is presentable for students.

Between the transfer and the readiness processes, there is information that we will require from each instructor, and by the end of the process, there will be feedback that we will give in return. In the transfer process, our team handles the copying of courses, the setup of Blackboard tools, the provisioning of LTI Tools, and the Instructor/PD/Guest Access to the sites.

The Transfer and Readiness processes are collaborative processes between us in the IRC and you, so we encourage you to reach out to our Course Support team if you have any questions about either process or any of their individual steps. You can reach out to our Course Support team through their Jira Page.

Transfer and Readiness Overview

Each term, the AAP Transfer Process moves fully online courses taught in the past to new Blackboard course shells for the upcoming term. This manual process begins approximately 60 days prior to the start of the term.
