Workshops & Events

Build your technical and pedagogical skills by attending one of our upcoming workshops & events. We offer workshops on online tools ranging from Canvas to advanced topics, such as evergreen media.

AAP Teaching & Learning Community

The AAP Teaching & Learning Community provides a space for faculty to collaboratively engage and learn in an online environment. The community offers resources, access to learning opportunities, updates and news, and thematic discussions.

New Faculty Orientation

This self-paced course is designed to help you succeed as a new faculty member in the AAP program. Over the course of six modules, you will be introduced to the program and its services, learn how to prepare your course for teaching, become familiar with essential instructional technologies and essential student services, and discover the resources and opportunities available to you as an AAP faculty member.

AAP requires that all new full-time, part-time, and adjunct faculty complete the New Faculty Orientation course within their first semester at AAP. Contact [email protected] for questions or additional information.

Designing High-Impact Learning Experiences

Take your teaching and learning skills to a new level and enroll in The Designing High-Impact Learning Experiences Certificate Program. This certificate is open to all AAP faculty and is appropriate for anyone looking to develop and improve their skills in designing and facilitating high-impact online courses.
